# The Guides - Inhabitants of 5D >[!info] >Your Higher Self (or "Higher Soul") that lives within the [[5th Dimension]]. Often referred to colloquially as one's "spirit guide" or "guardian angel." This is the aggregate of karma that persists across [[4D Souls|personal lifetimes]], creating a continuous being across [[4D - Time|Time]] and [[3D - Space|Space]]. For the Guide, whole 4D lifetimes are what a [[3D - Space|3D]] moment is to us. They move through the 4th dimension of Time like we move through the 3rd dimension of Space, following the threads of [[Karma]]. For example, when you fall (or fell) in love in this life, the guide sees not only that moment, but every time you have fallen in love across every lifetime you have ever lives. In the same way when the personal you (a 4D soul) listen to a song, you faintly remember the special times (3D moments) that song brings you back to. By the early explorer of the higher realms, or untrained [[i7 - Spiritual Intelligence|people naturally attuned]] to the signs and messages of beyond, this being is often confused with higher beings like the [[6D Directors|Directors]] or even the [[The One Infinite Creator|One Infinite Creator]], due to the expectation of the higher beings or God having a parental, caring, and personally invested nature this this being does. Instead, [[Ari Nazem|Ari]] - and many shamans before him - have found the Directors to be much colder than one's Guide from a human's point of view, in the same way a film director wants the best story, and thus is willing, quite happily, to put their characters through torment. The Guide is more like the biological parent of the actor, wanting them to have a good career but also caring deeply for their wellbeing during it. The Directors just want the best shot. To them, the horror and beauty are one and the same.
