# 3D · The 3rd Dimension >[!info] >Look around, welcome to the 3rd Dimension. 3D is the here and now. > >3D is the home of [[3D Bodies|Bodies]], physical entities that can move through Space but not through [[4D - Time|Time]] as [[4D Souls|Souls]] can. You can tell we (us Souls) are centered in the 4th Dimension because we persist through 3D moments, we experience time. No matter where we are in Space, or how much our bodies change physically, we retain a constant identity that transcends each moment. If we were fundamentally 3D Bodies and not 4D Souls, we would have no awareness of anything but the present moment. 3D is sometimes called the "Theater of the Universe" as beings here are stuck in Time and must experience everything linearly, like watching a movie in a Theater and not having the ability to scrub through it on your phone (which would be moving through time as a Soul can in 4D). This imprisonment in Time is why 3D is the place Souls come to evolve, as they can't know what happens next, and will have to live it out in Time, learning the effects of their actions (experiencing [[Karma]]). In 4D, the entire lifecycle of an action over Time is visible, so the cost or benefit of an action can be seen without waiting to see it manifest physically. In [[5D - Karma|5D]], the action's karmic ramifications across Space AND Time — that is, across 4D lifetimes — is always visible. This is why the beings that live in 5D are often called the [[Guides]], or Ascended Masters, as they are always aware [[The Optimal Path]]. the emotions exist, joy and sadness and pain and pleasure. In 4D, these are all momentary blips that come and go, in 5D these are simply the currents of Karma --- # Evolution `WORK IN PROGRESS` It seems less developed bodily hardware (bodies without the [[7 · ⚪️ · Crown]]) is more centered in 3D, as it was only relatively recently that human beings had the ability to travel through Time in our minds, like imagine the future or remember detailed experiences from the past and to disassociate from the present moment ruled by the senses.
