# Dreams
>[!info]
>Dreaming is where the 4D body (aka subtle body or personal soul) detaches from the 3D body and travels through the [[4D - Time|4th Dimension]] or other [[Dimensions]] unhampered by the limitations of space.
If you are still "yourself" - as in called your same same name and with generally the same memories of you waking 3D self - you are in your personal 4D body traveling the Dream World.
If you have an entirely different name or set of memories in the dream state, you are likely in your 5D body experiencing the Dream World from the perspective of a different 4D soul (a past or future life) than you are currently identified with in 3D.

>[!tip]
>Technically, dreaming can also refer to any access to other states besides 3D, and the Dream World is sometimes an alternate term for the Spirit World, or the higher dimensions (4D+).
>
>With proper training, the use of psychedelic medicines, or even spontaneously in hyper-normal experiences of great ecstasy or suffering (or for no apparent reason at all!), the higher dimensions can be accessed in a waking state, that is, with control of the subtle body, in contrast to the nightly experience of dreams.
>
>In this way, psychedelic experiences could (and often are in indigenous cultures like the Australian Aborigines) be classified as "waking" or "lucid" dreams.
