# Voltage, or Life Force >[!info] >The raw life energy that animates the Chakras. Often called Prana or Chi. # Overview In many of the wolds indigenous and ancient cultures, the concept of life force has occupied a major place - especially in medicine, healing, and spiritual practice - going by names such as prana (India), chi (China), Ki (Japan), or mana (Pacific Islands), to name a few. I often refer to it as voltage, to point to the concept without religious / cultural baggage, in the spirit of the rest of the system.[^1] Put simply, the the idea here is that different people's whole systems have a different amount of power at the base, amount of energy that is coursing throughout it. Higher voltage people tend to have more intensity and energy in all aspects of life, lower voltage less so. Voltage seems to be normally distributed, meaning most people are in the middle. This article will focus on the extreme tails to give a sense of the spectrum. In my explorations, this seems to be something that is an attribute of the 3D Body alone, and is not native to the Soul itself. Of course, Karma likely determines the raw voltage of the body that the soul incarnates into, the rationale for it though is beyond my paygrade. This is still under active research. There are two important things to note right away, that both high and low voltage and benefits and dangers, and that voltage is variable (within a range) and can be increased or limited based on behavior. # Benefits and Drawbacks of High & Low It might sound intuitively that high voltage is preferable to low voltage, but this is not the case. Both have their advantages and pitfalls. There's a reason high voltage equipment is plastered with warning sings. The high voltage human has the same polarity of high power and high risk, while a low voltage person has less volatility. ## High Voltage Everything for the high voltage person is more intense. We can think of this in the areas of the Chakras. Simply, every attribute is exaggerated, leading to higher power but also higher volatility. Voltage also impacts the Intelligences and Archetypes, where it exaggerates strengths and weaknesses equally. 1. The body is more energized, allowing longer endurance in many areas, but also can be hyperactive, jittery, ungrounded, and stressed. 2. The desires run much hotter, providing powerful motivation beyond that of the average person, but can also be all consuming, and quickly lead to addiction. 3. The will or action drive is more intense, leading to constant desire to accomplish and achieve, allowing one to be hyper-productive, but also often feel not good enough, overworked, and suffer from perfectionism. 4. The heart is much more sensitive, allowing greater empathy and deeper feeling, but also deeper heartbreak, sadness, and loss. 5. The voice is stronger, giving greater command and inspiration, allowing one's truth to project further, as well as amplifying mistakes in communication, falsehood, and lies. 6. The mind is supercharged, able to process more information and analyze it quicker, while also being prone to spiralling down rabbit holes of thought, running in circles, and overabstraction. 7. The spirit intuitively feels a great calling or purpose (a sense of the Soul's highest path), and is driven incessantly to work on it and sacrifice all else for it. This can easily lead to messiah syndrome, ego, workaholism, and imbalances of every kind. You can imagine now, how Low Voltage people have the opposite of these problems. Things are not volatile, and there are few ups and downs. The costs are greatly reduced, and life seems to be more stable and calm, but so are the benefits, and little extraordinary is undertaken. In an Integral view, like that of the Ancestor Culture, neither are good or bad. They just are, and are perfect that way. And! It seems that we as Souls have a certain level of voltage that is ideal for our optimal path at any given stage, and the most efficient path would be to try and be at the proper level of voltage needed - this is individual. This brings us to the topic of voltage modulation. # Resistance in the Circuitry It seems that there is a range of voltage a certain person has access to, and this seems to be quite set from birth. Like most things, the range can be expanded, but would require considerable time, effort, and discipline to do. Instead, for most all people, the goal would be to unblock any fixation that could be causing resistance in the internal energy system, and leading to negative feedback loops, addictions, etc, and allow the natural amount of energy within them to flow freely through the system. Resistance occurs from fixation of psychic energy and behavior around a certain Chakra. That is, instead of taking a balanced approach, and giving each area of life its due time as needed on one's optimal path, focusing an unhealthily obsessive amount of energy in one area to the detriment of the others. This creates a sticky addiction, which continues to siphon energy away from the main system, until, at its extreme end, it kills the whole host. The way to clean these fixations up is detailed in the Ancestor System's Shadow Work, or Cleaning Up, methods & protocols. [^2] In the meantime however, here's a quick idea. 1. Define symptoms you are experiencing, and at what Chakra they are located 2. Trace the chain of pain to where it leads, the trigger point. This chain can hop in a non-linear way between the Chakras, going for example, from 1 to 3 to 5 to 4. Often symptoms in one chakra are downstream of a trigger point at another, which radiates [referred pain](https://www.physio-pedia.com/Referred_Pain) and creates symptoms in other areas of life. 3. Investigate what **healthy**[^3] thing has grown into an unhealthy fixation or addiction. What is the medicine here that is being taken at such a dose and in such a way it has become poison? 4. Get in touch with this medicine, connect with it in its healthy and divine form. 5. Build into your life a Replacement Behavior of the addiction with this healthy thing. [^1]: ...with the exception of a few Sanskrit words like Chakras and Karma. This is because there are not any suitable English equivalents of these terms without huge loss in resolution. Where an appropriate English word is available that captures the same essence, I try to use it. [^2]: Coming soon! [^3]: In the Ancestor Culture, there is no such thing as pure evil or pure good. Any element of our psyches can be integrated, strong and healthy, or allergic/addicted, weak, and poisonous. Thus, the root of all healing is to always identify what the divine and healthy thing has been corrupted, and recover that as the way to heal it, instead of trying to cut it out or kill it, seeing it as all bad. This "kill it with fire" approach is often undertaken in Level 3 in response to desires, but as each part of the psyche is integral to it, and non-removable, this just creates nasty allergies / suppressions / repressions / shadows, that then haunt the psyche incessantly, calling for attention, and cause way more problems.
